All 3 Majors Gained for The Week Despite Higher Crude Oil Prices

All 3 major indexes advanced this week despite the price on crude oil for future delivery rising by $3.60. On the day, both the NASDAQ Composite and S&P 500 gained, but the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) retreated. 1,432,817,950 shares were traded @ The New York Stock Exchange® today.

For the week, the DJIA gained 166.47 points (+1.333%), the NASDAQ Composite Index gained 40.39 points (+1.658%), and the S&P 500 Index gained 26.21 points (+1.843%).
